Republican Study Committee Chairman Jim Jordan released the following statement regarding the 10th anniversary of al Qaeda’s September 11th terrorist attacks.

“In the wake of 9/11, Americans were unified as never before in my lifetime. The terrorists thought they could tear us down and send us running.  They were wrong.  Americans from all walks of life answered the call to defend their country, and we are grateful each and every day for their service and sacrifice.”

“We remain a nation at war and must remain vigilant against those who would do us harm.  As we honor those who died that day and those who’ve since taken the fight to al Qaeda and its allies, I am reminded once more that there is no peril or obstacle too great for the American spirit to overcome.”
