Washington, Oct 5, 2012 - Republican Study Committee Chairman Jim Jordan sent a letter to Secretary Tim Geithner requesting a progress report as required in the law reauthorizing the Export-Import Bank.

As the letter notes, "Although the 180-day deadline for the above reports is not until late November, we at the Republican Study Committee, the largest multi-issues caucus in the U.S. Congress, would appreciate a quick status update in October to ensure that the negotiations are proceeding in a timely fashion."
